  • 2:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. Free transportation to event
  • 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Kids Pavilion (West & East Pavilion) sponsored by Arkansas Children’s Hospital

Join the fun at the pavilion with free bounce houses, crafts, and activities for the kids. Face painting and Mobile Video Game Station is also available for an additional fee.

  • 3 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Military Appreciation Tent

All Military members (active, retired or dependents) are encouraged to check-in to receive various giveaways and a discount card to use with many of the vendors at Pops on the River. When the gates open at 5:30pm, the first 100 will receive free reserved seating in the amphitheater.

  • 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Music from 106.7 The Ride New Country (Pavilion Plaza)
  • 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Face painting (Kids Pavilion) Face painting is an additional cost.
  • 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Mobile Video Game Station (Kids Pavilion) is an additional cost.
  • 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Uncle Sam (Kids Pavilion)

Uncles Sam visits the kids and will perform magic tricks and make balloon animals.

  • 5:30 p.m.  Gates to amphitheater open

Free admission. Chairs and blankets are encouraged. Open amphitheater seating is available, but limited. You can purchase reserved seating for $10 per seat in advance online. No coolers or outside food or drinks. No pets or fireworks allowed.

  • 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.  Smile Photo Booth presented by Delta Dental (Kids Pavilion)

Take July 4th themed pictures in the fun photo booth and leave with a free photo strip. You can also view and get a digital copy of your photo at


  • 6:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. The Oh Say! Can you Sing? Finalists perform and winner announced. (First Security Amphitheater)

Help the judges decide who will sing the National Anthem with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and win $300. See the finalists online now at

  • 7:00 p.m.  Big Dam Horns Perform (First Security Amphitheater)

  • 8:30 p.m.  The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, presented by Delta Dental (First Security Amphitheater)

Conducted by Philip Mann. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra performance is one not to miss.

  • 9:30 p.m.  Fireworks

Celebrate our nation’s independence with the Pops on the River Fireworks finale – shot over the Main Street Bridge and visible all over downtown Little Rock.
